The Sedalia Regional Airport, located on the northeastern side of Sedalia, services the aviation needs of the residents and businesses of Sedalia and Pettis County. The airport's main runway (Runway 18-36) is a lighted 5,500' x 100' runway that can accommodate propeller and business jet aircraft. Secondary Runway 5-23 is a 3,520' x 50' lighted runway. The airport offers line service, ground transportation, airframe maintenance, aircraft service and repairs, restroom facilities and internet access. For user convenience, most major credit cards are accepted as payment for services and fees.

The Sedalia Regional Airport operates weekdays from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. (6 p.m. during winter), and on weekends from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

United Airlines offers daily route trip service between COU to Denver International Airport (DEN) and twice daily round trip flights between COU and Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD). United operates 50-seat CRJ-200 jet aircraft for all flights out of COU.
